2017: Year in Review- The Best of MsModify

It’s true what they say, time flies when you’re having fun! Can you believe we’re saying goodbye to 2017 and hello to 2018?! I don’t know about you, but this year went by incredibly fast for me!

This year I had some highs and lows, but overall I’d say it was a great year. In 2015, I got engaged and planned a wedding. In 2016, I got married and in 2017, we just lived life…nothing overly exciting happened. However, I’ve decided the best days of my life are the ordinary ones where I’m not doing much, just spending time with Erik and my family.

Is it just me or do you get a little sentimental the end of the year too? Reflecting on the good times and bad… not knowing what the new year brings. I’m optimistic that 2018 will be a year of many blessings!

Here’s a look back at some of my favorite posts I’ve shared throughout the year!

Thanks for this great round up from the past year. There are things I wanted to keep on file but had forgotten about, and things I thought I had saved that I hadn’t. I am so pleased that you dug through the files and put this great list together. It’s a keeper. I am going to make the poke cake before the week is over. It looks so good, and I haven’t been baking much if at all, this last year, due to getting ready to move, for months and packing things away, and now we have moved, but so many things are still in storage. I can pull off that cake though. Thank heavens I found my stand mixer!

Thank you so much for being a reader of my blog! I hope you enjoy the poke cake… it’s my husband’s favorite! Also, you can search for past posts in the search bar (located on the right side of your screen if you’re on a computer and then at the very bottom of the page if you’re on your computer!)

      Happy New Year!!

Thanks so much for your blog- I also have a daughter who is 10 and has diabetes and celiac. In addition to the yummy recipes, your posts give me food for thought!

Thank you so much for following along with me! I imagine that must be hard for you and your daughter at times. Have you read my interview with the mom of a daughter with celiac and diabetes?

      Happy New Year!
