I’m a lover of peanut butter. One of my favorite snacks is peanut butter and bananas. One day I tried making this sandwich and absolutely loved how the peanut butter became melted and creamy. Yum! This is my go to sandwich for breakfast, lunch, or even a snack after my work out. It’s all about the protein!
Ingredients:
2 slices of gluten free bread
peanut butter
½ a banana
½ tsp cinnamon
butter (or margarine)
Instructions:
Butter one side of bread. Turn bread over. Generously spread peanut butter on both pieces of bread. Slice bananas and place slices on one side of bread over peanut butter. Sprinkle cinnamon on top of bananas. Close sandwich.
Heat pan with a little butter (or margarine). Place sandwich on pan, lower temp to low-med and cover with lid. Cook for about 8 minutes (flipping half way through) or until peanut butter is melted and bread is toasted.
Cut in half and enjoy!
