These frozen chocolate almond butter banana bites are the perfect sweet, yet healthy treat to cool you off all summer!
I’ll admit it, I’ve never been a huge chocolate person… what?! I know! But, ever since being pregnant I’ve suddenly been craving it… and enjoying it! Since I’m trying to be mindful of what I eat and stick to healthier choices during this pregnancy, I’ve been eating fruit any time I get a sweet tooth (bring on all the fruit… I can’t get enough!).
That is when one day I got the brilliant idea to dip my fruit in melted chocolate! Ha. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw on my stories that I raided my fridge to find any fruit I had so I could dip it in chocolate!
Being pregnant during the Arizona summer heat is not ideal…we’re talking 118 degree temps recently! One hot afternoon, when my sweet tooth kicked in, is when I decided to make these frozen chocolate almond butter bites and boy am I glad I did! (side note: Erik is LOVING my cravings and experiments in the kitchen! Ha)
These frozen chocolate almond butter banana bites are the perfect little frozen treat to cool me off and satisfy my sweet tooth. Best part of all, they’re healthy! I use pure dark chocolate, making these a healthier choice.
They’re simple to make, only have four ingredients that are in most kitchens already and are melt-in-your-mouth good! I hope you love them as much as we do!

- 1 ½ tsp coconut oi
Instructions

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper

Recipe Notes
You can use peanut butter or any nut butter in place of almond butter.
