{GF} Peppermint Brownie Trifle

peppermint trifleA trifle is one of my favorite desserts to make…it’s super easy and always delicious! When I made my peppermint brownies, I instantly knew I had to turn them into a trifle. You can make this in a large trifle dish or in small individual cups, same recipe!

You can never go wrong with a trifle, or peppermint…end of story.

Ingredients:

A batch of my peppermint brownies (Minus the toppings. No melted chocolate or crushed candy canes)
1 (3 oz) box of instant chocolate pudding mix (plus ingredients to prepare)
½ tsp peppermint extract
2 cups peppermint crunch (found on the baking isle)
1 (12 oz) container of cool whip

Instructions:

Bake peppermint brownies. Allow time to cool.

Prepare pudding.  Then add in peppermint extract and then chill.

Break brownies into pieces. Place half of the brownie pieces on bottom of trifle dish (or individual cups). Follow with half of the chocolate pudding. Next, add half of the cool whip on top of the pudding. Top with peppermint crunch. Repeat this process one more time.

Chill a couple hours before serving.

Enjoy!

OH EM GEE. These sound (and look) divine!!! Chocolate and peppermint is totally my jam!! Starbucks had a peppermint brownie cakeball this year… and it’s the only thing I’ve ever been obsessed with at Starbucks. Now I can make my own!!
